Acolytes assist in the many worship services that take place at St. Paul’s, including occasional weekday services.  Acolytes serve in several roles including: Crucifer (this person carries the processional cross in and out of the church and at the Gospel Procession, and often assists the priest in setting the table for Communion); Torch Bearers (carry torches in procession with the Crucifer); Banner Bearer and on occasion, carrying the Gospel Book.  They see that each service runs smoothly and assist the clergy.  Acolytes at St. Paul’s range in age from late grade school through adult.  Contact Person: Mike Weathers or Bill Jordan

Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist in administering the chalice at all Eucharistic services.  Eucharistic Ministers are appointed by the Rector and must be licensed by the Bishop. Contact Person: The Rector

Lay Eucharistic Visitors assist the Clergy by bringing Holy Communion from the service to those who are ill and cannot attend.  Eucharistic Visitors are appointed by the Rector and must be licensed by the Bishop. Contact Person: The Rector

Lectors and Intercessors read the assigned Bible lessons and lead the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Contact Person: Mike Weathers or Bill Jordan
